The project is supporting forestry activities with the aim
- to promote sustainable management and conservation of forest resources, ensuring long-term ecological balance,
- to empower local communities by involving them in forest management activities to balance environmental conservation with the socio-economic development of local communities., and
- to contribute to climate change mitigation through carbon sequestration by preserving and restoring forests.
Project supported Community Nursery, Jhum Buffer Conservation and Forest Closure sites
